The best magical realism novel I have read. It's demanding but worth the effort.

My advice: don't turn it into a struggle; enjoy a great translation of a world class book.

@hunkalove it's not an easy read. most of the characters are named after one another, it gets confusing.

@octoberthesixth I've known several people who say it is their favorite novel.

@hunkalove I haven't finished it yet but it's surely an original piece of work.
