I Would Easily Spend a Whole Day Curled Up With a Good Book
I'm currently reading Among the Hidden, the first book in the Shadow Children series. And basically it takes place during a time period that the Government has all these rules: Women can't have more than two kids, no pets allowed, no junk food, a lot of you can't do this, you can do this only if you do something else. Anyways, the whole book surrounds an illegal third child who constantly has to hide so no one knows he exist. I really like the idea, but I'm just thinking now, if the Government really did pass that law here, I'd be just like the main character, if I existed at all. I'm a third child, and I can't imagine life without my pets or junk food. I'm terrified that one day in my lifetime the government might actually pass laws like that...
