I love how a book can take me so far away from the present. Love how attached I become to the characters and get to know them as if I'd known them for all my life ❤️

A couple of years ago I read a book that I pretty much lived in for 3 months:
Three Roads to the Alamo by William Davis

It's a triple biography of the three famous heroes of the Alamo, Lt.Col.William Travis, Jim Bowie and David Crockett.

I have a new book I'm itching to start reading but cannot give it the proper time and attention to really enjoy it...I may have to take a day off and hit the hammock. :)
