I used to love to read

I find it difficult to find the time to do so these days. I discovered audio books about a year ago and now I'm flying through books. What are peoples opinions on audio books is it as beneficial as actual reading.

Personally it has allowed me to enjoy books again although I feel guilty that I'm not experiencing them in the intended format.

I bought Audible for my Mother earlier this year. She rather likes it but says some narrators are better than others and it's not the same as 'discovering' things by reading yourself.

@Picklebobble2 If you like mysteries try Rex Stout. Michael Prichart is the narrator in those and he is excellent
