I Love Books

I've been trying to read self help books on how to mentally get better.
I have a lot of family issues and one thing that takes me away from all that pain is reading.

I want to scream and yell and punch a wall, maybe even cry but once I pick up a big. I force myself to get taken away with words and turning pages. It's the only way I can feel better about anything.

Not thinking about your problems no matter how much you want to is effective in mental healing, reading and other immersive things such as TV do help that process.
