@Desdenova: it sure is - the first time I read it, I stayed up all night to finish it. Noble House is also pretty good, though not as good as Shogun (not much is)

Some stories are really great though, like the one where a bunch of kids made fun of an old guy for being bald so god had the children mauled to death by bears @Desdenova:
