Name one book that really scared you

Never read it .. Only seen the movie ! The Kubrick one that King wasn't happy with

I loved the book ! Hated the liberties Kubrick took with the movie.

So did I, he made the characters so one dimensional it's unreal.

Yeah, but firstly - it was a made for tv movie, which makes it very tamed up Secondly - King is bad at making films (see Maximum Overdrive) and thirdly he got Mick Garris which is a horrible idea.
