Halo: The Flood by William C. Dietz
I barely finished reading it the other night. I thoroughly enjoyed it and It's the first of many Halo novels I intend on reading.
The plot is the same as the first Halo videogame, Combat Evolved. Plus there's a few other plot lines. If you've ever played and wondered where the UNSC gets their supplies from and how they provide all that for Chief.. that's one of them.
You also follow the story of a secret Elite hunting the Master Chief.
Next I'm reading Parasite's Wake from this year, which again, takes place during the same events. This one is about a group of prisoners aboard the Pillar of Autumn's brig after the ship crashed.
And a soldier named Marvin Mobuto
