The Thirst for Annihilation -- Nick Land
In this book Nick delves into the work of Georges Bataille, a pretty interesting fella, what I'm interested in is not the erotica, nor the dense abstract stuff, but the nihilism and extreme examples of thinking, where it looks to normal people like self lacerating thoughts, but I dunno, it makes a certain kind of sense to me that isn't at all like that. Nick was an accelerationist, and we have them to thank to a big degree for the state of the world right now. They want to speed up the world's "progress" to hasten the ultimate destruction of our species. It could therefore be seen as a variant of Cioran's antinatalism, but that is just what i'm thinking at this moment.
