These are the books I got that I didn't need recently
Physical copies of
The CSB Illustrated Study Bible -- I was driven by the need to have pretty pictures, and now that I got them I realize it's got Arminian friendly views, along with the next one
The NLT Illustrated Study Bible
The Holman Illustrated Bible Dictionary
The ESV Study Bible -- but with this and the next we come back to the safe theological roots of Orthodox Protestantism.
The Reformation Heritage Study Bible -- my 1st premium leather Bible -- calfskin!!
William Jay's Morning and Evening Exercises -- 2 volumes -- if you like Spurgeon's devotional Morning and Evening, you ain't seen nuttin' yet with this!!
Puritan Treasures for Today -- 19 volumes -- these are the Puritans made easy for a modern audience
Stephen Yuille's 90 Days With the Puritan -- 3 volumes -- Mr. Yuille has edited a few of the important complete works of certain Puritans like William Perkins and most recently Thomas Watson.
And a 2 volume hardcover biography of Martyn-Lloyd Jones, who was quite the preacher, i'm trying to fit in his sermons when I can. This bio was written by Iain Murray.
and an e-book of the 5 volume Works of John Cotton, this guy was important for Congregationalists. They differed with Presbyterians in matters of church government.
It may sound shocking to some, but a major use I have for the Puritans and such like stuff is that it enhances for me the pleasure of ... sinning. 😈
