BOOK RECCOMENDATION!!!
If you enjoy psychological thrillers with insane plot twists, I DEFINETLY recommend ,,The man of the labyrinth" by Donato Carrisi.
Here is the synopsis:
,,The hunt for the monster begins inside your mind.
In the midst of a heat wave that disrupts the rhythm of life, Samantha, who disappeared as a child, emerges from the darkness. Traumatized and wounded, her mind hides the clues that could lead to her jailer: the man in the maze.
This could be the last case for Bruno Genko, an incredibly talented detective who is not dealing with a kidnapping of this nature for the first time. But the clues lie deep in Samantha's mind, behind iron doors and endless corridors."
It REALLY keeps you on edge the WHOLE time, aswell as questioning and wondering, and it leaves you doing that even at the end. It has such a good build up with it, making the ending even more shocking and stay with you. It has very good and vidid descriptions, including graphic details-the violence is SO disturbing and scary. It also has good and complex characters.
And on a side note, it's the third book (in order) in the Mila Vasquez saga.
