@Starchild1983 magical realism is an easy favorite genre, i prefer those to feeling some sort of burden to complete books that feel emotionally or even intellectually heavy. i just prefer pleasantness over seriousness in books, ya know

@wackidywack Have you read Winter's Tale, by Mark Helprin (1983)? The best Magical Realism novel I've read. I recommended it a lot when I worked in a bookstore and so many customers thanked me later.
