One of the last things I must do before getting some shut eye is to listen to a chapter of Charles Dickens
Listening to ch. 17 of The Pickwick Papers atm, in volume one of the complete works which isn't really complete because the 2 volumes I got misses one of his major novels!! Dombey and Son, which is one of the top 3 for my favorite Dickens fan on Booktube.
There's just 30 minutes till I take some zzzquil, and do just a little bit more reading, or I could watch a sitcom episode, or a little more audiobook, oh the choices!!
Dicken's original readers would read the chapters out loud to their families or maybe also in the pubs, it was smashing good entertainment back then in the mid 19th century.
Have a most wonderful weekend folks, I would like to get up no earlier than midnight which is 7.5 hours from now.
