These days will have me seriously attempting to ration my food and smoking, for otherwise I will have to request assistance from my brother, and I said to him i'd do my best not to have to do that.
But since my funds are so low, I thought I ought to see if purchasing The Life of Samuel Johnson by James Boswell from Penguin Classics would go through, an 18 dollar purchase, which will have all the footnotes operable and stuff, and it went through!!
A booktuber I like who shows off all his Penguin books loves this book so much and specifically this edition, which is packed to the brim with extra goodies.
Samuel Johnson and his biographer James Boswell hit me like a ton of bricks a few weeks ago, when I was listening to the audiobook, but like most things it cooled down in my estimation, the ancient Greeks and Romans are ever so much more interesting, but it's nice to see the proponents of the heights of the English language, along with Shakespeare, and Milton.
Also got Penguin's edition of Selected Essays, which is from The Rambler my favorite thing Sam wrote, might be able to get more, then i'll be dead broke again.
