A very nice book was suggested to me by LadyGrace

And I bought it after an initial struggle of Yes and No. It is "The Body keeps the score". It can be for psychology students or PhD scholars but also for war veterans / Anyone who has witnessed any kind of abuse or Trauma from the past. I have read 60 pages so far and This book is a gem. It's a big book though, has 450+ pages. But it uncovers how human brain is wired in every dimension.

Anyone else want some research in the field or want to know why someone behaves the way they behave or even want to help someone or themselves recover through any kind of trauma may find this book extremely useful.

It's authored by BVD Kolk

And you are welcome

I read this a while ago.
It's a good guide on why people do what they do and how (if those people are in your life) you can help them without making you their 'go to' if you're trying to encourage independence

@Picklebobble2 In how many days did you read it full?

@DanielsASJ 😆 about 3 days to read and then another 3 recapping just about every paragraph to make sure i understood it correctly.

It's not the most straightforward book you'll ever read

@Picklebobble2 Just three days to read 450 pages? How did you do that?
