I got myself some eBooks last night
It's hard to keep good news to myself, I figured that I've currently just got a small amount, before the check that is being delayed by a postal strike, I'd get some stuff for my Kobo because of these factors:
My free source has bit the dust
and
My new kindle device has been lost for the last few months, and I love reading on a small device, however reading on the kindle scribe is do-able, and is fit punishment imo for having it too easy in life.
So I felt the need for some kind of bundle series thing that sounds fun, just a basic page turner, so I picked Lisa Jackson and Nancy Bush's Colony series, the first 4 for one low price, the 5th will be gotten if I rip through the first 4.
Then Hermann Hesse's Demian, I should have gotten most of my mileage from this at an earlier age, but I just read it once, thought well of it, but no more than that.
Then the Delphi editions of
The 2 big names in classic crime fiction
1) Dasheill Hammett, 2) Raymond Chandler,
and 2 big names of the classics
4) Dostoevsky and 5) Dickens
This is mainly so that I can read them on a small device.
((in less than 5 hours we'll be going to see dad, I'm expecting him not to take it well, but he deserves to know what's going on))
