I remember the children’s literature.

I grew up reading a little princess and the secret garden. A little princess was especially my favorite book because it has the moral lessons of retaining kindness and hope/imagination even in the face of adversity. It taught that all girls are princesses irregardless if they are rich or dress in rags and live in drafty old attics. Sarah crewe was a princess by her behavior and willingness to be kind to others even when she herself was mistreated after she lost her fortune and her father. Both of these books were magical and imparted important life lessons. The book is set in Victorian era London I think. It was originally published in 1905. I adore the classics that are timeless. I read children’s books once in a while and rewatch the films to please my inner child and bring it out.

I grew up watching that as an animation in French. It helped me in difficult times.
