I was learning my fourth, but due to extenuating circumstances I had to stop. But I also spoke another, years ago, and was able to read and write in another language; 5 in total I have known.

@Jackson: If you speak Mandarin WOW. That would be such a challenge for any one not familiar with your phonetics; so that's for me, very impressive :)
I had a hard time with french because of the verb/noun transpositions, it just threw me off :)

@Lunadelobos: yeah, I'm learning French right now and I'm still trying to memorize the verbs and conjugating. 😥 (which I'm failing)
I was born and grew up and spent most of my life in China so Chinese isn't really hard for me. 😂

My first languages are Latvian and Russian: totally unrelated languages
(they are both of the Indo-European family)
and I was blessed to learn them simultaneously.
English, came later.
