if you've not read a book for a while, how do you get back into reading

some think this digital age and computer screens, phone screens are responsible for affecting concentration levels....i'm not sure but just know that i've always had trouble with my concentration span and getting into books...my mind tends to wander when i try to read...i have quite a few books i'd like to read...but just can't be bothered picking one up and start reading.

Just pick up a book that looks interesting and start, I guess. That's a tough question for me because I've been reading steadily for as long as I can remember, sometimes three or four books in a week.

@ChipmunkErnie i think it's because i have ADHD and a learning disability as well, which i forgot to mention, which makes it harder for me.

I've been wondering the same thing! I can't seem to read a book because my phone, social media etc. We got to discipline ourselves and focus on the book reading instead.

Set a time each day if you can.

Choose shirt books. I like modern Japanese authors, and good old George Simeon.

Throw long descriptive novels away. If you must read Stephen King, choose his short stories.
