Physical books being read

This afternoon gathered some of my physical treasures in 3 piles by my recliner, and these are them, which will be added to the 1st of the 3 pinned posts, but i'm simply making a new post about them to bring fresh awareness, it is indeed a pleasure to hold a real book, and turn the pages!!

Jorge Luis Borges -- Collected Fictions
William T. Vollmann -- Fathers and Crows
William H. Gass -- Omensetter's Luck and The Tunnel
The Koran translated by Marmaduke Pickthall
The Gift: Poems by Hafiz
Jean Paul Sartre -- Nausea
Aristotle -- The Nicomachean Ethics
Kurt Vonnegut -- Cat's Cradle (in the 2nd LOA volume of 4 for his novels)
Daniel Paul Schreber -- Memoirs of My Nervous Illness -- what a crazy thing this is!!
Knut Hamsun -- Mysteries
The Complete Tales of H.P. Lovecraft -- a beautiful big green hardcover, and the font is so lovely to read!!
The Complete Tales and Poems of Edgar Allan Poe -- a handsome purple hardcover, print is a little smaller than HP's but same publisher.
William Gaddis -- JR -- these are my initials
E.M. Cioran's The Fall Into Time
Mary Daly -- Pure Lust -- I have to hide this because it's garish looking and has the dread F word on the cover (Feminism that is) and it's a bright yellow with flourishing old style lettering. It's a gas though, pure wordsmith she was!

I'm reading The Killer Inside Me, by Jim Thompson (1952) for about the 5th time. Gets my vote for Thompson's best.

@hunkalove Yes, I have and have read it, needs another! Long time ago, we were talking noir fiction and I had picked up a couple through your recommendation, things went real bad downstairs though where most of the books are, many are wrecked and disfigured, so i'm not sure whether those are unscathed yet. Jim was great!
