10/10 The Richard Pevear and Larissa Volokhonsky translations of Fyodor Dostoevsky + a LONG Biography

There's a group of online warriors that hate these translators, but I refuse to buy into their smear tactics, and will gladly place their hard work into my Curriculum for arguably the most famous 19th century Russian author

1. The Eternal Husband and Other Stories
2. Notes from a Dead House
3. Notes from Underground
4. Crime and Punishment
5. The Idiot
6. Demons
7. The Adolescent
8. The Brothers Karamazov

9. Joseph Frank's Dostoevsky is a 4 volume work that I pine after losing track of time with just as much as with Fyodor's own work.

I do have his complete works, but for this year I have to just for the most part focus on what cost me $$$, and I sure spent a lot for the biography.

This author needs no introduction, i'm just officially welcoming him into the party, or Curriculum, he was such a deep analyzer of human nature, and when he was in prison and was under the impression that he was going to be executed, and they pointed the rifles at the prisoners, and the click resulted in no bullets and that it was just a test, his writing style altered, and that was when he penned his most enduring works.
