Favorite passage from a book?

I'm looking for paragraph sampling or more. Not one or two line quotes (though I like those, too.)
Tatsumi · 31-35, M
Well. First thing that comes to mind, "an open mind is like an open wound: apt to fester." Glotka.

"The recruiting sergeant sells dreams but gives nightmares" glotka

"I'm the end, we're all like toys. Easy to break and hard to mend.'

Damn. I knkw there are skme good ones, but i can't think of any. :( i had a paragraph one. Lemme try and find it.

Haha. Found it.

"Show me a man or a woman alone and I'll show you a saint. Give me two and they'll fall in love. Give me three and they'll invent the charming thing we call 'society'. Give me four and they'll build a pyramid. Give me five and they'll make one an outcast. Give me six and they'll reinvent prejudice. Give me seven and in seven years they'll reinvent warfare. Man may have been made in the image of God, but human society was made in the image of His opposite number, and is always trying to get back home."
Stephen King, The Stand
