To be kept from overdosing on the Bible and theology, tonight marks the beginning of having non-religious material to be in the mix.

The other day the 2nd and 3rd Parker novels were on sale so now i have the first 3 and a later one, out of something like 27, i've heard good things about Richard Stark's crime noir series. And this is where i'd like to taste the secular waters, along with some Nordic Noir books, and also thrillers in general, folk like Karin Slaughter i have all of her novels up till the last one, Gillian Flynn being another to keep enjoying, and Mo Hayder.

Classic fiction -- most of the biggies and some of the lesser knowns are there, modern classics are well represented too.

The ancient Greek and Rome collection -- some of this will tie in nicely with the Christian studies.

Memoirs, biographies, true crime, and history, all those kinds of things, there was recently a Nazi study going on, i have about 5 highly acclaimed Hitler biographies and so on.

Poetry -- oh yes i often forget to mention this

The Mahabharata, this can be so difficult for me, the names of deities always go by other names, and can be very confusing, but i spent over 200 dollars for the renowned Bibek Debroy's translation, so at some point i need to give it a fresh new try, and for all the other Eastern Religion Philosophy things, they do have a special place in my heart, and it would be a masterstroke of learning if i could discover how it could be a part of things without taking over as being the only part.

Books with pictures, or maybe magazines, get a few old style magazine memberships, spend 30 minutes a night in the comfort of the living room flipping through a magazine you carefully chose for yourself, and want to enjoy it unlike the mags you find at doctor's waiting rooms.
