I've heard of it. It was brought into prominence by Marianne Williamson on Oprah's show.
I'd always considered it more NewAge than Christian.
It has a very interesting background, which you can read about on Wikipedia. The writer considered the text to have been channeled to her from Jesus.
That was controversial, with many claiming it was actually antithetical to true Biblical teachings.
I tend to steer clear of NewAge stuff, as it seems like most of it is just a mash up of various spiritual, mystical, and occult teachings in new packaging.
