If you wanna read free books make sure to download an app called Libby

You can sign up with your number to get a library card and read books from your local library digitally free from your phone.
No costs whatsoever.
I just found out about it tho and I'm reading books like crazy.

@Mamapolo2016 Really great app. Just put in your library card number and you’ll have the library in your device!
Fantastic app, one of the best I’ve ever downloaded. Like having a library in my iPad! Actually have two libraries in there, as I was able to use a library card from where I used to live in addition to the card from my current location.
In the last year, my wife & I have become big users of Libby. Our suburban library has circulation agreements with several other suburban libraries, which means our Libby account has access to all of the E-books in all of the libraries. I'm still seeing a 12 week hold on a popular book, but there's other books to read in the meantime!

Apparently a lot of my friends knew about it
But no one told me😒
No charges for returning them late either or losing them!! :)

How would this be different from checking out e-books directly from my library?
Juvia · 22-25, F
@DrWatson You can get books from different librarys instead of just one
DrWatson · 70-79, M
@Juvia Cool! Thank you!

@DrWatson there are some you can get from other states too. Sometimes libraries from other states will give u a card too free so there are some libraries you can add that are out of state or elseswhere.
So if your book isn't at your library you can try other libraries which is the benefit of Libby.

But if you get any library card you can use it on Libby.
So even if it's not free, a lot of libraries also have non-resident cards for less than $50 which can last a year or be permanent. And again, some offer them for free.

I love Libby.

My city libraries don’t use Libby. The app they use sucks. So I was able to get a library card in the city I work and they use Libby.
