@nonsensiclesnail [quote]How did you come up with your definition of incest.[/quote]

By investigating what incest is. As analyst we just don't believe what is said but go beyond even the dictionary. Once you read the book, you will understand the difference between inbreeding and incest, and how incest can happen even in outbreeding.

@in10RjFox so are you going to sue me in court for coming up with the definition? So what according to you is the original definition ?
@in10RjFox No, but why are you redefining words??

Incest is the crime of two members of the same family having sexual intercourse, such as a father and daughter, or a brother and sister.
Oedipus, according to ancient Greek legend, killed his father and committed incest with his mother.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Incest#External_links
Incest (/ˈɪnsɛst/ IN-sest) is human sexual activity between family members or close relatives.[1][2] This typically includes sexual activity between people in consanguinity (blood relations), and sometimes those related by affinity (marriage or stepfamily), adoption, or lineage. It is forbidden and considered immoral in most societies, and can lead to an increased risk of genetic disorders in children in case of pregnancy.

The English word incest is derived from the Latin incestus, which has a general meaning of "impure, unchaste". It was introduced into Middle English, both in the generic Latin sense (preserved throughout the Middle English period)[18] and in the narrow modern sense. The derived adjective incestuous appears in the 16th century.[19] Before the Latin term came in, incest was known in Old English as sib-leger (from sibb 'kinship' + leger 'to lie') or mǣġhǣmed (from mǣġ 'kin, parent' + hǣmed 'sexual intercourse') but in time, both words fell out of use. Terms like incester[20][21][22] and incestual[23][24] have been used to describe those interested or involved in sexual relations with relatives among humans, while inbreeder has been used in relation to similar behavior among non-human organisms.[25]

Incest AWARE's definition of incest.
So,what is incest? At Incest AWARE, we define incest as the sexual abuse of a person by a family member: a primary caregiver including a stepparent or foster parent, a sibling or cousin, or someone else considered family like a nanny or close family friend. Whether experiencing this abuse as a child or an adult, it is extremely traumatic, can negatively impact everyone in the family and community, and has lasting harmful impacts on the survivor.

The definition of incest, often known as intrafamilial child sexual abuse, can include more than just sexual behavior. It can also include non-touching behaviors such as exposure to a child, making a child view pornography, invading a child’s body privacy or taking sexually explicit photos of them, or communicating with a child about sexual fantasies. Covert incest refers to an adult using a child to meet their emotional needs to replace a romantic partner or friend.

Incest is a broad term that covers more specific types of incest like adult-on-adult abuse, adult-on-child abuse, and child-on-child abuse. Within these subcategories more kinds of harm exist like sibling sexual trauma, father/daughter incest, mother/son incest, cousin/cousin incest, etc.
The social definition of incest.
According to most dictionaries, incest is defined as sexual activity or marriage between family members. This traditional meaning of incest includes both consensual incest between related adults, as well as sexual violence between related adults and children or children and children.

The legal definition of incest.
The legal definition of incest differs depending on the country. In the United States, the meaning of incest changes based on state law around who is considered a part of one's family. According to US Legal:

"Laws vary by state, but generally, a person commits incest if [they/she/he] marries or engages in sexual intercourse with a person [they/she/he] knows to be, either legitimately or illegitimately:

* [Their] ancestor or descendant by blood or adoption; or
* [Their] brother or sister of the whole or half-blood or by adoption; or
* [Their] stepchild or stepparent, while the marriage creating the relationship exists; or
* [Their] aunt, uncle, nephew or niece of the whole or half-blood.

In some states incest also includes copulation or cohabitation between first cousins, but the majority of jurisdictions permit marriage between such cousins. Incest is a crime in all states, even if consensual by both parties."

To expand the legaldefinition of incest, according to NOLO, "For the purposes of incest laws, 'family' can [also] mean [...] foster families, and sometimes even 'family-like' situations (such as a parent and child who lives with the parent's significant other)."

In some states, incest laws focus on marriage and presumed consensual relations between adults, while incest abuse against children would be prosecuted under rape and child abuse laws.

@nonsensiclesnail First read the book. And then write a review. Anything in this world can be redefined and renewed.
in10RjFox · M
@nonsensiclesnail Do you know "incest" lost its context after the advent of condoms ? And there is no incest if condoms are used?
in10RjFox · M
@nonsensiclesnail and what is your qualification, profession and work experience. Any experience with the subject Logic or Logical Reasoning?
@in10RjFox here, this should help you

@nonsensiclesnail All that is for kids who start to write. Not Philosophers. Book reviewers are not fools, and they don't write genuine reviews even when paid. What you are doing is just peeping into a movie and just come running that the scene is not right.. so you walked out of the movie or ask the director question.

Do you do that in movie theatre ?

Just by reading a few pages, you can find fault and know all about the book ?

So read the book for you will be surprised about the discovery in linguistics unknown to the world, for only then you would know how human languages were developed.

[big]Even the authority of English does not know why "H" is silent in the word "honest"[/big]
I have documented the proof in the book.

Anyway the book is a letter to Future.. and not for those who are soon to pass.
@in10RjFox "not as a solver of problems but as a liberator of potential."

as you are not a problem solver I thought the above link might help you create proper definitions to words that already exist.
in10RjFox · M
@nonsensiclesnail oh! you wanted me to write a dictionary afresh ? Like Buddha said "teach a man how to fish and not feed him with fishes" .. My book teaches how to fish. So there won't be a need for dictionary as people would learn how to think out of the box.
@in10RjFox you have redefined so many common terms to suit your needs, you did try to already.

also, is this book all about gaining support for your family family registration system? If you can get people to think like you, they will understand and want it?
in10RjFox · M
@nonsensiclesnail The problem is you are assuming things to your convenience, and your language time shows that an authority must never be questioned.

Giving a fresh proper and renewed definition is also redefining.

In software we use what is known as redefines clause and that we do not for our convenience but for the benefit of the end user.

I have redefined common not to suit my needs but to meet the needs of life today and for future.

If it's [b]my[/b] family registration system , then whose marriage registration system are you supporting and following?
