Yes, The Poor Mouth and The Third Policeman are two of my favourites.

@SW-User I have to confess that I've not actually read "The Poor Mouth" - and yet I have a friend in New York who used to run an Irish Bar & Cultural Centre called "An Béal Bocht" - the original Gaelic translation.

@ArtieKat It was the first book I read of his, probably over 35 years ago now. I thought it was very funny at the time. I really struggled with At swim two birds, which I read more recently. Maybe my tastes have changed.

@SW-User I regularly re-read all three that I own. Last read "At Swim" in 2009 so I must be due a revisit lol

@ArtieKat I generally don't re-read books, unless I forget I've read it. It's so long since I read books I say are my favourites, I should probably revisit some too.
