What is a highly recommended book you read and hated?

I’ll start…

For months everyone kept recommending The Never King in all of my reading groups. I finally caved and read it. It was terrible, but that’s my unpopular opinion!

Battle field earth (428,750 words ) by Frank Hubbard.

Geesh! It's almost as long as War and peace (587,287 words), which I have read, and with little to no point to it! 😖

@DeWayfarer The first fifty pages of Dianetics were more than enough for me to never touch anything by him again!

@DeWayfarer That sounds terrible!
