What is a highly recommended book you read and hated?

@ChipmunkErnie I can’t even bring myself to try that one. I few like I should, just to understand references and whatnot, but 💁🏻‍♀️

@ChipmunkErnie I thought it was very good.. But I read it a long time ago. (When the year 1984 was still in the future!)

@DrWatson I read it, along with BRAVE NEW WORLD, around the same time SOOOO long ago, but as someone who read science fiction regularly from the time I was 12 or so both seemed like pale imitations of real sci-fi to me.

@ChipmunkErnie I agree that is not really Sci Fi. I didn't try to read it that way.
