What is a highly recommended book you read and hated?

I’ll start…

For months everyone kept recommending The Never King in all of my reading groups. I finally caved and read it. It was terrible, but that’s my unpopular opinion!

Heart of Darkness, couldn’t even finish it. Anything by the Brontes. And Catcher in the Rye was completely insufferable

@summersong I agree on all…except Jane Eyre ❤️❤️❤️ One of my favorite books of all time, but oh the suffering! I can understand why someone may dislike it lol

@summersong Heart of Darkness is a fave. You couldn't finish Wuthering Heights or Jane Eyre?! Never tried Catcher...
