What's the best book you've read this year and why?
What book has stood out to you as the most captivating or thought-provoking? What made it so enjoyable to read? Was it the plot, characters, writing style, or something else entirely?

Hard to say, I've read a few dozen so far this year. I am enjoying the one I'm currently reading, "The Covenant" by James A. Michener. In particular the examination of the reasoning behind the Boer views on race and religion is intriguing.
