How long can you read a book in one sitting?

my record is 8+ hours in bed, reading all night instead of sleeping. the sun came up, i kept reading. my eyes started crossing, so i shut the book and crashed

I've read whole books in one sitting. I think the time limit would be when the body shuts down needing sleep.

If I'm really hooked into what I'm reading, I could read all day!

If its something I'm into, I can do it for hours.

Ok but I need a coffee every hour or so. A really good book a couple of hours a night....sometimes three.

About an our at a time if it's really good. But then I might not pick it up again for days, weeks, months

Been know to start early in the evening and read all night through until morning.
