Has anyone else had the misfortune of reading a story online that someone made

Where you get so into it, it's very interesting sooooo good then you get a to be Continued but there is no Continuation and the story is a bit to old to probably get a continuation

Yes I find that annoying, I guess the writer has moved on or is so busy to commit furthering the storyline. People I have chatted with, over the years, have said I should write stories, I never did because I know I would never be able to finish writing it. So I know it wasn't me that wrote such a "To Be Continued" story. 🙂
