How I'll be reading Anais Nin
This extraordinary woman's most significant work is The Diary, as published it comes in 3 series, which i will cover in this order:
1. January to May
The Main Diary in 7 volumes which were published from the 60's to 70's
2. June to September
The Early Diaries - in 4 volumes, last one i have a physical copy
3. October to May 2024
The Unexpurgated Diary - in 8 volumes, or 9 i haven't made sure yet how many but the last one is supposed to be released this Spring.
Outside of her Diary the following works will be consulted:
The Winter of Artifice and Cities of the Interior .... the rest is of lesser importance to me. I no longer wish to be a Nin scholar, but just appreciate what she has to offer in the realms of aesthetic literary pleasure and her unique psychological and revolutionary assessment of life.
