Just slogged through this God awful audiobook on John Lennon's assassination.
What made it so terrible is the voice actor decided to speak in different voices for every person in the book. And he could not fake an English accent to save his life.
"The Crimson Capsule" by Stanton Coblentz. An old sci-fi book from the late 1960s which prophesizes a world where nuclear winter has caused an extreme greenhouse effect, climate change, the melting ice caps, rising sea levels, massive coastal flooding, etc.
@Fluffybull The one thing I will say is that books don't cut you off simply because they are not loud enough. Its just a voice so I can still be aware of what is around me but I take as a chance to learn something as well. Well sometimes I learn other times I just get annoyed.
