The new last eBook purchases
A few years ago when i was reading Robert Walser i came across a stunning Introduction to The Tanners written by WG Sebald. I've not since followed through with getting anything by him till just now, a 3 in 1 containing The Emigrants / The Rings of Saturn / and Vertigo. Looking inside i see that like that Walser Intro there are splendidly gloomy photos strewn across the text. That clinched it.
I cannot leave these either
A first hand German account of the rise of the Nazis
and another Wolfgang Hilbig, making my Hilbig collection into 6 volumes!!!
Now extreme austerity which will be deeply enriching as i squeeze the luscious literary juices from my plentiful stock of goodies. Till i finish at least 100. I'll keep a list on google docs and share when i reach a milestone.
