Looking for a book.

Hello, I need help tracking down a book I read back in highschool. I remember the plot pretty good but the name of the book or author escapes me. Now I don't know if it was released in American or just North America. If anyone recognizes it by the summary please let me know, I really want to reread it.

It contains LGBTQ+, coming out and suicide:
The main character goes to Mexico with his aunt and little brother a week or so before his 18th birthday, after his older brothers suicide.
He meets a football player on the beach and they start hanging out, they eat supper together mainly because he doesn't want to be seen with his aunt and brother. They try out each others food afterall why not?
He meets a hot girl and is super surprised that her parents are chill with them hanging out alone. A day or so later after a storm he's on the beach with his football buddy when he gets a hardon thinking about the hot girl. His buddy's points it out and he jokes saying that "it's all you buddy". Flash forward a bit and the friend tries to kiss him and he's like no I'm not gay.
Ending Spoiler Alert
His aunt talks with him afterwards saying "I know your older brother killed himself because he was gay and I want you to know that I support you". He's still like but...I'm not gay. She was confused because of how he was being with the football buddy all the time aka eating together, going for walks together. She wasn't there for his brother but she will be there for him no matter what.
He still is like I. Am. Not. Gay. That's when he realizes why the hot girls parents were chill with him, with how close he was with his football friend. He talks with his friend and his friend didn't realize he was gay until that day on the beach with the dick joke.
With all that over he turns 18 and gets his first drink.
