Did anyone read the Time Travellers Wife? Is it good?

I never know what to make of reviews online. Some books I hated get really good reviews.

It's popular, probably well written, but the premise is odd, to me...

This book jumps around in time, but just in the protagonists memory. - It is also beautifully written.
