What's the last book you read?

I read Alice in Wonderland today. I had a few hours to kill. It's not so much the stories that do it for me, but rather my interpretation of the story, characters, environments, and so on. That's where the real magic happens. Four people can read the same story, and they each will have read a different story. That's the main reason I prefer books to movies and TV shows. I'm not forced to see someone else's vision. I only see my own.
