I may be just crazy enough to spend 160 dollars for Mary Daly's last book

My Daly collection would be complete, her work should be read crone-ologically from Beyond God the Father onwards, i love it that much, she gets so cosmic and craaaaazy. I don't need my readings to be strictly factual, and her reasonings for not being factual are good in my eyes, that the whole structure of the way things are is what she's battling against. Ahhhh yes, so i will be getting much less than 30 books next time (14 days)

Wow, that's a lot of money! She is too problematic for me to be willing to shell out 160 beans for a book. I have been deeply influenced by her more accessible works though.

@ShadowSister Nahhh, i won't, my readings as a whole are pretty inclusive, a bell hook is coming tomorrow ....:)

@SW-User To my mind, bell hooks is the gold standard of feminism. It's a shame I haven't read more of her.
@ShadowSister Abdullah Ocalan, the Kurdish freedom fighter currently imprisoned in Turkey, has developed Jineology, a radical feminist philosophy advocating total equality between men and women and the view that capitalism is inherently anti-woman. The Kurdish Workers Party (PKK) supports the communalism or local control proposed by Murray Bookchin. 40% of PKK fighters are female. The autonomous Kurdish enclave of Rojava may be the most authentically feminist political unit in the world right now. This is especially significant against the background of extreme misogyny in the Middle East generally.
