I want that book:(

If you’re into funky neurological conditions I highly recommend it. @canusernamebemyusername
@WhateverWorks I def am. lol I have funky conditions. Okay well not that bad. I have OCD. But I'm fascinated with a morbid curiosity of how the human brain can go bad in so many ways.

This book is less about neurological decay or distress and more about the unusual (remarkable) people who developed unique conditions that altered the experience of reality in many regards @canusernamebemyusername
@WhateverWorks Still interesting. I have also read Oliver Sacks other book Musicophilia because my mom has that one. I like the way he writes. Loquacious, erudite and wordy.

I haven’t read any of his other books yet, but I will now that I finally finish this one. I also enjoyed his writing style. I really liked how as he discussed these case studies there was feeling to it and it didn’t come off as a dry, clinical read @canusernamebemyusername
@WhateverWorks Sam Kean writes well too. His is like reading a story someone is telling. I have both his The Violinist's Thumb and The Disappearing Spoon. I also want The Bastard Brigade as well.

I just looked up The Disappointing Spoon as a start. I like it very much and have found my next book to dive into. 😀 thank you for the recommendation. @canusernamebemyusername
@WhateverWorks I love both science and history so the combo works for me. I hope you like it. :)
