Can you count the books you've read and do you even really remember them?
I only ever read five books voluntarily and all I can give you is plot, can't name characters most of the time

Somewhere between 3500 and 5000 I think. And no, I can't remember all of them, not without some sort of hint anyway. My personal library is about 3500 books. Downsizing it now because I'm 63 and won't have time to re-read them all. As a teenager I devoured books at the rate of roughly one a day, but now it's closer to one a week.
