What quote/saying do people spout but is complete BS?

Most of those spouted are incomplete. Ex, “blood is thicker than water” is derived from “the blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb,” which has a totally different meaning than its shortened variant.

In that aspect, they’re all kind of bullshit.
