What's the worst horror/scary story did you read?

For me it was the creepypasta "Jeff the killer" I still don't understand how this pathetic, badly written and downright awful "story" got so popular. The fact others have tried to make sequels are even more laughable.

I have read a couple of their stories back then when they exploded and they are very lame and poorly written like you said. I don't get why they were popular either I guess a bunch of 11 & 12 year olds wanted to be edgy so bad 🤷‍♀️

@Ewitsu yeah I guess it makes sense. I mean I've found some of those that actually had effort and detail put into them but I guess with the average attention span for kids these days they want something short and to the point even if it makes no sense.
