I would go with the changes, at least they are publishing the book. If you refuse they may not. Get this one, learn from the experience for your next book. Hope it goes well. Whats the book about
@Ian123 The book is about the life of a young German boy after the events of WW2.
I feel like the changes they are trying to make are very predictable.

@lauriethecolourful I can understand how you feel, you have put your soul into it. BUT you have to make a decision, you may lose the book completely if you refuse. Do you want this as your career?
@Ian123 I don't want to lose the book completely. Honestly, I don't know. Being a professional writer has always been a dream of mine, but it's also not too realistic. If you're book doesn't sell, you're screwed. Haha I am also currently at university stupying journalism, and I think that will be my career. Writing is something I will do on the side.

@lauriethecolourful If you are at university then you have choices, go with your heart its usually the best way
Ido hope whatever you do turns out well for you, and remember you are good enough to have the chance, not many can do that
