What is the point/perks of Audible service?

You can listen to books for free with the overdrive app...you can connect to your local library...

Can someone tell me what's the benefit of having Audible?

more options, being able to get new titles right away, not having to put something you want to read/listen to on hold and wait for your turn, being able to keep it as long as you want it without worrying about renewing.

that being said i still prefer overdrive.

@SW-User thank you. right, I'd rather wait and save money. Find something else to read until what you want becomes available.
