Which third mythological animal should I represent my sector with?

So I'm writing a novel, a cross between Harry Potter and the Hunger Games, and I need help on figuring out the "mascot" for the third sector. These mascots are for a magic academy and will represent the sectors and which type of magic they use. I have Pheonix (Fire and air), Dryad (Earth and Light), and I need another mythological animal (preferably water based).

Can anyone please help?

@Effloresce Good choice, thanks.

The magic sponge. It should have pants that can be drawn using 4 equally long lines placed at 90 degrees angles. It could summon a celestial minion, some kind of star if you will.

A Deep One.

@Doomflower that's what he said?

Personally, I would go with some sort of water spider.

Guppies. Just throw in some guppies and call it a day
Yes. You can call it gupplegulp or gupplegulch or groupgrope @Quizzical

@DukeOfEarle I like the sound of being in a Groupgrope 😂
Yeah its just Sex Ed all day and night. Very hands on. Lots of nondisclosure and consent forms and then its willy nilly for four years

@SW-User That's just cheating, lol
Naiads. I rather like the name Oceanids, too.

@Quizzical I may change things later, I originally had six sectors, but felt it was a bit much to go with at first, so I cut it down a bit. All part of editing 😂

@Covens Well, potentially you could have six if you split the elements into four and also used light and shadow as an extra two 🤔

@Quizzical I thought about that as well. Still a possibility.. 🙂
