My poemes are not in English, should I share them and translate into English?

I have a collection of poems written in a small European language. I am gathering the courage to show them to someone. But if I translate them and show them here, the poems lose a lot of meaning. Do you think I should still do it?

I would leave them and show them to someone who does understand the language, but you can also translate them to English, I’ve seen it done before, and it made beautiful sense in both languages.

@soulsrespite Unfortunately it is a language spoken by a small number of people. And I was hoping to get some anonymous feedback first :). But, hell yeah, i will make a small experiment tonight, to see how it sounds in English. My English is far from perfect, so keep your fingers crossed that I do a decent job :)
