If a movie is made of a novel you enjoyed, do you usually want to see the movie?

Of would you rather hold onto the images that formed in your head from reading the book?

I usually do not want to see the movie. Or if I do, it has to be a long time after I have read the book.

I love seeing the movie after reading the book, especially if I've enjoyed the book. Sometimes I hate the movie (which is kinda fun in itself) but most of the time it's a huge delight to see beloved characters played out.
