If a movie is made of a novel you enjoyed, do you usually want to see the movie?

Of would you rather hold onto the images that formed in your head from reading the book?

I usually do not want to see the movie. Or if I do, it has to be a long time after I have read the book.

I like to see the movie because it doesn’t affect how I perceive the book, overall I like to see what others imagine. When I read the book again I still get my original imaginations.

@Classy It's great that you can do that. I find that the film images interfere with my impressions from the book.
